Terms of service
Last updated October 15, 2026
By creating a ClaimTrail account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.
The service
ClaimTrail is a tool for recording customer damage claims and how they were resolved. It doesn't process payments, give legal or insurance advice, or decide who is liable: you remain responsible for your claim decisions, your valuation coverage terms and any federal or state rules for household goods movers. Follow-up dates and the late-claim flag are a convenience. We aren't responsible for missed deadlines, claim outcomes or disputes with your customers.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- The office manager controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.
Plans and billing
- New companies get a 14-day free trial with no card. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
- If a plan lapses, your data stays, but adding and changing records and logins above your plan stop working until you choose a plan again.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Your data
Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.
Availability
We work to keep ClaimTrail running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using ClaimTrail at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
